Anderson! Please tell us about yourself.
I am a Dj, producer and engineer based in Queens Ny. I have worked with a number of Soca and dancehall artists across the caribbean and united states, recently I ventured into producing pop/dance/house music which has been getting noticed mainly in Europe and Asian countries. I studied audio engineering at SAE Institute in NYC and got my bachelor's in music production from Full Sail University.
Wow! How long have you been in your respective industry?
I have been djing professionally for the past 23 years and producing for 10. I first opened my studio, Rebel Muzik Studios in Queens Ny in August 2012 which became a home for many Caribbean artists.
How do you spend your day, or what does an ordinary day look like for you?
An ordinary day for me is waking up and going to the studio. I spend almost all my time in there learning, trying new ideas or producing and recording clients. Inbetween that I try to spend as much time as I could with my daughter.
Amazing, what is your proudest professional achievement?
My proudest professional achievement is producing a track for a huge mainstream artist. We met and connected on a musical and spiritual level instantly and even if the track never see's the light of day, this is still my proudest moment to date.
Special Shoutouts:
Shouts to my entire Rebel Muzik family, my mentor Darren Gilbert, my wife Jessica for always having my back and everyone who supports me and the music I create.
Is there anything you currently have in the works or any recent accomplishments you'd like to brief the audience about?
I am currently working on a Caribbean RnB track with an upcoming artist called 'Sugar Plum'. Release date is mid May so be on the lookout!
We can't wait! At last, any advice for the readers?
Never give up!
