Supakid, please tell us about yourself.

Hey! My name is Satesh, and I am a passionate photographer and videographer who loves capturing the most cherished moments of people's lives. My journey in the creative world began with music production, which eventually led me to discover my true passion for photography and videography. Alongside my team, we've embarked on a mission to bring joy and preserve memories for couples and families through our art.

Our primary focus is wedding photography and videography, as well as engagement sessions, family portraits, and other events. We put our heart and soul into every project, aiming to create personalized, captivating, and timeless memories that our clients can cherish for a lifetime.

As an artist, my goal is to genuinely understand the unique needs and desires of each couple, creating a bond that allows me to authentically capture their love story. I pride myself on my attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to create a comfortable and enjoyable experience for my clients. For me, being a part of someone's journey and creating memories that last a lifetime is truly an honor and a privilege.

Awesome! How has your business changed over time?

Over time, my business has evolved significantly, both in terms of the services we offer and the way we approach our work. In the beginning, my focus was primarily on music production, but as I explored the world of music videos, I discovered my passion for photography and videography. This led me to expand my services to include events, family sessions, and portrait photography.

As my wife, Ashley, joined me on this journey, we found our true calling in wedding photography and videography. We have refined our skills and techniques to provide an even better experience for our clients. Our commitment to building meaningful relationships with our clients and understanding their unique needs and desires has deepened, allowing us to capture their love stories in a more authentic and personalized way.

Additionally, we have embraced new technologies and trends in the industry, such as drone videography, 360 Photobooth and advanced editing techniques, which has helped us create even more captivating and engaging content for our clients. As our business has grown, we have also expanded our team, and now have a DJ on board (DJ PowerTone) who we recommend for all of the weddings we capture.

Ultimately, our business has evolved to become more client-centric, focused on providing a memorable and personalized experience for each couple and family we have the privilege of working with. We continually strive to learn, grow, and adapt to the ever-changing landscape of photography and videography in order to best serve our clients and create memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.

How do you spend your day, or what does an ordinary day look like for you?

I feel like all of my days are hectic since I've decided to run my own business. I don't think I have much free time any more but my work doesn't feel like work and it's really enjoyable.

Most of my days involve a mix of client meetings, either in-person or via video calls, and working on ongoing projects. This can include editing photos or videos from recent shoots, scouting locations for upcoming sessions, or working on business needs (Website, Marketing, Etc).

If I have a shoot scheduled, then I'll spend a significant portion of my day on location with our clients.

My workdays (MON-FRI) are usually from 8-10 AM to 1-3 AM. My weekends are usually booked with events or shoots, and if they're not, then my Wife and I would most likely find a location to go explore or hang out with friends.

Amazing, what is the best advice someone ever gave you?

The best advice I ever received came at a time when I was just starting my photography and videography business. Someone close to me said, "You won't be able to handle it." Instead of letting those words discourage me, I used them as motivation to prove them wrong.

This advice, as unconventional as it may seem, played a significant role in my success. It fueled my endeavors and gave me the drive to push through the challenges and setbacks that inevitably come with starting a new business. Every time I faced an obstacle, I remembered those words and worked even harder to overcome it.

In hindsight, this advice taught me the importance of resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity. It helped me realize that the only person who could truly limit my potential was myself. By embracing the challenge and using it as motivation, I was able to build a successful business and create a fulfilling career doing what I love.

Special Shoutouts:

I'm truly grateful for this opportunity to share my story with the community. I want to give a heartfelt shoutout to the following people who have contributed significantly to my journey:

My Couples: Without your trust and support, I wouldn't have a business. I'm grateful for the friendships and relationships we've developed, and I hope they continue to flourish over time.

DJ PowerTone: My brother, who has pushed and supported me in growing my business. He's a quick learner and has become an invaluable part of my team, both as a videographer and a DJ.

My Team: Your hard work, dedication, and creativity during events have made a huge difference in providing an amazing experience for our clients. Your constant flow of ideas and suggestions help us grow and improve.

My Wife: My rock since day one, your unwavering support means everything to me. Not to mention, you're an incredible photographer as well!

My Parents: Thank you for always believing in me, supporting my dreams, and offering advice when I need it most.

God: I am eternally grateful for the talent you have bestowed upon me, seemingly out of nowhere.

To all of you, thank you for being an essential part of my journey.

At last, any advice for the readers?

To all the readers out there, I have a few pieces of advice that I've found invaluable throughout my journey:

Believe in yourself and your abilities. You are capable of achieving great things, so don't underestimate your potential.

Embrace challenges and setbacks as learning opportunities. They're a natural part of growth, and they can teach you valuable lessons that will help you become better at what you do.

Surround yourself with a supportive network of people who share your passion and drive. They can provide encouragement, motivation, and constructive feedback when you need it most.

Stay curious and open to learning. The more you know, the better equipped you'll be to adapt and excel in your chosen field.

Don't be afraid to take risks and push yourself outside of your comfort zone. It's where the magic happens, and it's often where we discover our true potential.

Lastly, remember to enjoy the journey and celebrate your successes along the way. Life is too short not to cherish every moment and appreciate the growth that comes from pursuing your dreams.
